Creating an App and requesting for PSD2 subscription in Production Developer Portal - quick guide

Create an APP

• When logged in - > Go to Apps on top of the page:

• In the Apps page click on Create new app:

• Create a name for the app under Title and Save: 

Please note: If you are creating or changing a Title/name for a PSD2 application that is using the eIDAS Certificate Subject/Common name in certificate, then the new name will be exposed to the PSU in the Authentication process redirect flow. To ensure that your application always exposes the eIDAS certificate Subject/Common name, you have to manually add the correct common name of the eIDAS certificate into the Title field when creating or editing the App name.  

• On the next page, copy and save API Key and Secret and keep it secure for future API calls and click OK:

Request for PSD2 subscriptions

1. Go to Apps page -> Subscriptions tab, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select Edit:
   
   
   
2. Provide the required information on the page:
   • Paste your eIDAS QSEALc Public certificate in text format without the -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- / -----END CERTIFICATE----- in the textbox for eIDAS certificate
   • Add one or several Redirect URLs for your application (max 5)
   • Click on Save
     
     
     
3. From the following page select API Products:
   
   
   
4. Start to select the relevant PSD2 APIs according to your PSD2 eIDAS certificate roles:
   • Personal Account Information
   • Personal Payments Initiation
   • Business Account Information
   • Business Payments Initiation
     
     
     
5. When you have selected the first API -> scroll down and click on Select for APIs included:
   
   
   
6. Select the app, if you have several, that you want to apply the subscription to:
   
   
   
7. The subscription is selected and you verify your subscription request by clicking Next:
   
   
   
8. Your request has been sent to Nordea and you can click on Done:
   
   
   
9. You will get an e-mail informing that your request has been received
10. Repeat steps from 5 to 10 for adding all the PSD2 APIs according to your PSD2 QSEALc eIDAS Public Certificate roles
11. If you go to Apps -> click on your new app -> select Subscriptions - you will see the subscription as Pending approval until automatically approved by Nordea:
    
    
    
12. You will receive a new e-mail informing that your request has been finally approved. The Pending approval will not be visible when the request is finally approved:

You are now ready to use API in production:

• When you start to send queries, please observe that the URL to Production environment is different from the Sandbox environment URL
