Many developers have asked us to get access to their personal information in sandbox without applying for a licence from Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA). We agree, this would make developing apps in our sandbox a lot more convenient and fun.
However, EU creates the regulations and security guidelines, which are then drafted to country specific laws. The local FSA then interprets these laws and guides the financial industry institutions to follow.
But I would like to access only my personal banking data, not other people's data!
With the current guidelines and regulations we are not allowed to grant access to personal data without the FSA licence. Only the authorized parties with the FSA licence are allowed to access our dedicated production data interface under PSD2.
- As a customer you can access services provided by a licenced TPP with just your own Nordea/national credentials
- As a TPP you need to have the licence to get access to the banks production environment (live and real time) data
You can read more about how to access live data from here.
If the guidelines and regulations were to change or to be interpreted otherwise in the future, we will do our best to implement this feature for you.
