FAQ
Q:
We are currently working on obtaining a certificate signed by a CA (Certificate Authority) provider for our integration with corporate PSD2 Nordea Open Banking APIs. The CA provider we are considering is DigiCert. We would like to confirm whether Nordea maintains a list of approved or preferred CA providers and whether DigiCert is amongst them.
A:
Nordea supports Qualified Trust Service Providers (QTSP) approved by and provided by the European Commission. These QTSPs are represented on the EU/EEA Trusted List (LOTL). DigiCert is one of the QTSPs that can be found as a trusted service provider in the EU/EEA. Nordea only supports QSealC for PSD2 APIs. The LOTL can be accessed at the European Commission website: https://eidas.ec.europa.eu/efda/trust-services/browse/eidas/tls
Note: PSD2 Licensed TPPs must provide valid certificates to ASPSPs (Account Servicing Payment Service Providers) for accessing PSD2 APIs. Nordea provides no opinions or guidelines regarding the relationship or business model between Licensed TPPs and their QTSPs.
