Before you can start to use the Beneficiary Account Validation (BAV) in Production, there are a few steps to finalise the technical onboarding for your application
Follow the steps below to get started

Reset password for your Developer Organisation account
You will receive an e-mail with a "reset password link” to activate your Development Organisation account and to reset the password in the Production Developer Portal:
- Go to the Reset password page via the link in the e-mail that you've received

Create and confirm a new valid password and save:

A popup will appear informing: Password successfully updated:

Click on Sign in to log in with your e-mail and the new password:

Type in your e-mail address as User name and the new password to log in:
Create an APP
- When logged in - > Go to Apps on top of the page:
- In the Apps page click on Create new app:
- Create a name for the app under Title and Save:
- On the next page, copy and save API Key and Secret and keep it secure for future API calls and click OK:
Request for Beneficiary Account Validation subscription

Go to API Products from the following page:

Select Beneficiary Account Validation API:

Scroll down to Plans and click Select for the subscription:

Select the app, if you have several, that you want to apply the subscription to:

The subscription is selected for your application and you verify your request by clicking Next:

Your request has been sent to Nordea and you can click on Done:
- You will get an e-mail informing that your request has been received and is waiting for approval

If you go to Apps -> click on your new app -> select Subscriptions - you will see the subscription as Pending approval until finally approved by Nordea:

You will receive a new e-mail informing that your request has been finally approved. The Pending approval will not be visible when the request is finally approved:
You are now ready to start using BAV API in Production:
- When you start to send queries, please observe that the URL to Production is different from the Sandbox URL
- The latest version of the Production API URLs for products and the technical development documentation are found in the API Market at: https://developer.nordeaopenbanking.com/
Invite additional users and change ownership
The Developer Organisation owner can invite members for different roles and also change ownership. The invited person can be given different roles. The invited person will receive an e-mail with a link to “Sign up” as a member in the Developer Organisation. The Developer Organisation owner can then transfer ownership to a member with the administrator role.
Invite a new user to join the Organisation either as an Administrator, Viewer or an Application Developer:

Administrator role
- Administrator can make changes to the app name, redirect URI and unsubscribe from active subscription(s)
- Administrator can add new users to or remove existing users from the Organisation
- Administrator can change the Organisation owner

Viewer role
- Viewer has a view access to the Production Developer Portal
- Viewer can see app name, redirect URI and active subscription(s)
- Viewer cannot see API Key or Secret

Application Developer role
- Application Developer can see API Key and reset the Secret
- Application Developer can make changes to the app name, redirect URI and unsubscribe from active subscription(s)
- Application Developer cannot add new users to or remove existing users from the Organisation

Go to the drop down menu and click on My organization:

Click on Invite:

Type in the e-mail of a new user -> select the role -> and click on Save:

The invite is sent and the member get status Pending until signing up as a user:

The new member will receive an e-mail with a link to sign up to the Developer Organisation:
- Username: MUST be the e-mail address of the user
- e-mail: e-mail address of the user
- First name: first name
- Last name: last name
- Password: create a secure password

Confirm password: confirm created password
- The new member will receive a new e-mail confirmation and can now sign in to the Production Developer Portal

The Owner will see the new member with its role and status active:

The Owner is able change roles, delete members and to transfer the ownership to a member with the administrator role by clicking the three dots and select Actions:
